Motion Physiotherapy is a small, community-focused private physiotherapy practice based in Cummins, a vibrant rural town on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula. We are passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to people across the lifespan – from children to older adults – through a wide range of clinical services.

We pride ourselves on providing a personalised, holistic and supportive environment for both our clients and our team. Our clinic offers a diverse caseload including general musculoskeletal and sports injuries, orthopaedics, chronic disease management, respiratory, vestibular, and continence and pelvic health physiotherapy.

We also have visiting allied health practitioners that consult from the clinic weekly – an opportunity to expand your contacts in the region!

The Role

We are currently seeking a Casual or Part-Time Physiotherapist to join our team. This position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work across a broad range of clinical areas. The successful applicant will:

  • Treat a wide variety of conditions including musculoskeletal, sports, orthopaedic, respiratory, vestibular, and continence and pelvic health (as appropriate depending on qualifications)

  • Provide care to clients of all ages – from children through to older adults

  • Manage and build their own caseload with a strong focus on continuity of care

  • Manage related administrative tasks including patient rebooking, clinical documentation, and basic account processing

  • Be supported with mentoring and development opportunities

  • Work independently with the flexibility to develop their clinical interests

  • Work Monday to Friday – no weekend expectations

  • Control your schedule with flexible hours and working arrangements

  • No commission structure – focus on patient outcomes, not quotas

  • Supportive management – no pressure to overload your schedule, prioritising sustainable practice and preventing burnout

Duties Include (but not limited to):

  • Deliver high-quality physiotherapy care in line with best practice

  • Foster strong relationships with clients, families, and local referrers (GPs, sports clubs, schools)

  • Provide holistic care with a focus on long-term health outcomes

  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and supportive clinic culture

  • Engage in ongoing professional development (CPD), with funding available through RWDA (up to $10,000 scholarships/bursaries available)

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist

  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Is confident working independently and managing a diverse caseload

  • Demonstrates strong clinical reasoning and a passion for delivering patient-centred care

  • Is community-minded and values contributing to rural health
